What is a Drum Circle? A drum circle is a musical jam session where the focus is on fun, recreation and community. Each member is encouraged to participate in ways that are appropriate and productive. For some, that might mean playing instruments, while others might sing, dance or just listen. Drum circles are a form of recreational music making.
Some of the benefits of a drum circle are fun, self-expression, stress reduction, social interaction, community building, exercise for mind, body and spirit, multigenerational family activity and camaraderie and support.
